PhD POSITION IN TREE GENOMICS/BIOTECHNOLOGY
The prospective candidate will be working closely with researchers at Laval University (UL) and the Canadian Forest
Service (CFS)/Laurentian Centre in Québec. The student will be carrying out most of the work at UL's Institute for
Integrative and Systems Biology (IBIS); some work will also be carried out at the CFS. The student will also be involved
in our collaboration with The University of British Columbia and partner labs in the US.

The project concerns the mechanisms behind tree phenology, in particular aspen autumn leaf senescence. The research involves

Research Scientist – Plant Physiology
The position requires scientific innovation and leadership in the area of plant physiology and agronomy.
