Research Scientist – Plant Physiology
The position requires scientific innovation and leadership in the area of plant physiology and agronomy.
The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team of scientists at SCRDC working on crop
phenotyping to provide eco-physiological traits for breeders, and genetics to develop stress-tolerant, high
yielding and high quality cultivars; development of best management practices for agricultural systems to achieve
high outcomes, good economic return and minimum environmental impacts, such as greenhouse gas emissions, soil loss
